Sri Lanka rupee closes at 331.90/332.05 to US dollar spot, bond yields recover

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed weaker at 331.90/332.05 to the US dollar in the spot market on Wednesday, from 331.60/70 the previous day, while bond yields closed steady to lower on selected tenors, dealers said.

A bond maturing on 15.09.2029 closed at 11.05/15 percent, down from 11.10/15 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.08.2030 closed at 11.50/60 percent, down from 11.55/63 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.10.2030 closed at 11.55/65 percent, down from 11.60/65 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.12.2031 closed at 11.80/90 percent, up from 11.80/88 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.01.2033 closed at 12.13/18 percent, down from 12.15/20 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.10.2034 closed at 12.30/40 percent, down from 12.40/50 percent. (Colombo/Oct21/2026)
