Sri Lanka rupee closes at 330.85/95 to US dollar spot, bond yields up

ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s rupee closed at 330.85/95 to the US dollar in the spot market on Tuesday, weaker from 330.60/70 the previous day, while bond yields closed higher, dealers said.

A bond maturing on 01.08.2030 closed at 11.20/25 percent, up from 11.12/20 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.10.2030 closed at 11.27/33 percent, up from 11.20/25 percent.

A bond maturing on 01.02.2031 closed at 11.30/35 percent, up from 11.25/30 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.12.2032 closed at 11.70/75 percent, up from 11.67/75 percent.

A bond maturing on 15.10.2034 closed at 12.00/10 percent, up from 11.95/12.05 percent.

An auction of 80,000 million treasury bills is scheduled for October 7. (Colombo/Oct6/2026)
